Trying to get on Zone By Phone using Sip phone

Hi all,
I do apologize if someone has asked questions about this previously.
First of all, i'd never heard of such a program but I've been to the zone by phone page and I installed SJ Phone which was mentioned and set everything up. i went into the options and set sip as the profile, and entered 111@zonebbs.com and heard the dialing going on, and it says it's operational and it counts up the seconds, so it must be working though I can't hear anything at all. The fact that I can hear the dialing means that my audio is set up right I would have thought.
I don't hear a connection or anything; as I say, just the dialing.
Can anyone who knows more about this program offer some advice as to why it might not be working for me?
Thanks heaps in advance. :)

I don't use SJ phone. Your best bet is to go get a free copy of X-lite (a google search will pull it right up).

It is a free SIP phone, totally accessible, and actually works with the ZBP service.

Hello.
To access ZBP with SJ Phone client, try to do the following:
1. Open SJ Phone.
2. You should get the edit box where you put: 111@zonebbs.com
3. Press tab to get to the dial button and press space bar.
You will hear a tone, so you must wait 10-15 seconnds until you are connected.
I just cannot figure out where to find pound sign on computer keyboard.
By the way, talking about sip clients, does anyone know of any iphone sip client I could access ZBP with?
Thank you in advance for your help.

Pound is shift 3 on an English keyboard.
